MAKE
An existing office building in a residential area, the brief called for redevelopment of the existing building into high end residential flats with sensitively designed extensions and overall composition.
CREATE
Extending the central core to serve the new third floor creates an interested fulcrum point in the overall massing and allows the form to be broken up by an element of high tech architecture which facilitates a communal roof garden.
LIVE
Soft landscaping and abundant open space frame the development in it's leafy setting. A simple crown roof form takes cues from the residential vernacular in the immediate vicinity while full height windows give panoramic views over Guildford.
