An award-winning multi-disciplined designer, Daragh can utilise both aesthetic and technical expertise in bringing a project to a successful conclusion. Establishing the practice in 2016, Daragh has developed a strong company reputation of developer focused design and delivery.
With in-depth technical knowledge in tandem with a keen eye for design, Daragh offers essential involvement across all stages of a project from initial concept through to on-site oversight and final delivery.

Michael Eleftheriou (ARB, RIBA) - Senior Project Architect
Michael joined MCL Architecture in 2024 as a Senior Project Architect, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise gained from working on a series of high-value, complex projects in both London and the Middle East. Over the course of his career, he has gained significant exposure to a wide range of project types, from luxury residential and commercial developments to large-scale mixed-use projects. His experience spans all stages of architectural design and delivery, from initial concept development through to final construction, with a strong focus on integrating innovative design solutions and ensuring that each project is completed on time and within budget.
Michael is particularly skilled in leading teams through the intricacies of project execution, including managing client expectations, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining rigorous quality control throughout the process. A key area of his expertise lies in the advanced use of specialist architectural software, including Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other cutting-edge digital tools, which he leverages to optimize workflow, improve efficiency, and streamline communication between all stakeholders.
His deep understanding of both the technical and creative aspects of architecture enables him to balance aesthetic ambitions with practical considerations, ensuring that each project not only meets but exceeds client expectations. Jake Pickard (BArch) - Part 1 Architectural Assistant
Having graduated from Loughborough University with a Bachelor degree in Architecture and a Diploma in Professional Studies, Jake has been able to foster a diversity of architectural and graphical skill sets. His fascination with cultural and historical values has ultimately led him to conduct a plethora of research into the multifaith typology.
Across Jake’s two years of working in large and small-scale architectural practices, he has acquired a holistic understanding of residential, commercial, and grade-listed architectural design. Moreover, he has developed proficiency in key design software such as the Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and Enscape.
Away from architecture, Jake runs his own freelance design business that offers graphics and fashion design services. He utilises these extra-curricular opportunities to explore the creative realms from different design perspectives - Subsequently enabling him to channel an enriched understanding of design communication, client relationships, and sustainable strategies.
Somil Vithani (MArch) - Part 2 Architectural Assistant
Driven by a strong passion for design and architecture, Somil Vithani skilfully combines keen observation with a fine sense of style to create outstanding architectural works. With a Master’s in Advanced Architecture (RIBA Part 2) from the University of Greenwich, London, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Pune University, India, Somil brings over four years of industry experience. His diverse background spans both large-scale and small-scale office environments, where his detail-oriented approach consistently shines.
Somil's innovative design approach and commitment to excellence are evident in his active participation in numerous architectural competitions. His extensive experience equips him to tackle a wide range of architectural challenges, delivering creative and functional solutions tailored to each project's unique needs. Meticulous attention to detail is a defining feature of his work. He believes that architecture shapes the lives and memories of its users and that what we build today will shape our future.
Beyond architecture, Somil's passion for architectural photography provides him with unique perspectives and a deeper appreciation for design intricacies. This dual focus not only enriches his architectural projects but also enables him to capture and convey the essence of his designs through a different lens, highlighting his aesthetic expertise.
Vikki Lam (MArch) - Part 2 Architectural Assistant
Vikki joined MCL Architecture upon completing a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of New South Wales in Australia. With a solid background as an Architectural Assistant, she has contributed to a diverse range of projects across various sectors, including large-scale urban planning, office, residential, and commercial developments in both China and the UK. Her experience spans from initial concept design to detailed project execution, showcasing her versatility and comprehensive understanding of architectural processes.
Driven by a passion for sustainable architecture, Vikki has a holistic approach that integrates environmental and social aspects into her designs. Additionally, Vikki is highly proficient in the latest design software, including Building Information Modelling (BIM) and visual rendering engines. This technical expertise enables her to produce detailed and sophisticated presentations, providing clients with a clear and immersive vision of their projects.
Maia Ines (MA) - Part 2 Architectural Assistant
An architect with a strong background in BIM, specializing in residential and commercial projects. My experience has allowed me to refine both my creative design and technical skills, enabling me to work on high-end projects, optimize design strategies, and produce detailed construction packages. Early in my career, I gained hands-on expertise in the luxury yacht sector, which sharpened my technical approach and attention to detail.
I’m also deeply passionate about architecture’s potential for social impact. In my dissertation, I explored post-conflict reconstruction and proposed a sustainable, phased approach to temporary housing for underdeveloped regions. My goal was to create solutions that provide immediate relief while ensuring long-term adaptability and supporting the reintegration of displaced communities.

Emmy is a dedicated and driven student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Architecture at Loughborough University. With a deep passion for art and design, she combines her creative vision with technical expertise in essential software tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and
